More than 100 years ago, furnitures began to be manufactored in Småland. The nearness to the wood and hydraulic power were the origin. The often hard work made the people ingenious, industrious and loyal co-workers. Mitabs success origin in our co-workers reliable attitude and good work.
1979 - The beginning
Mitab started their own manufactoring of furnitures in 1979. Until the beginning of 1990 the products were developed for home furnishing. Today, Mitab develop, manufactore and sell furnitures aimed for the contract market.
1994 - Contract market
Mitab change their concentration and product development to the contrakt market. New products develops and new retailers recruits.
2004 - Change of generations
The second generation take over the MD-position. Peter Torstensson is now Managing Director.
