2008 winner was Daniel Enoksson from Beckmans School of Design. Daniel´s stand is created on a nordic theme.
- I have taken inspiration from the nordic climate, using the different colours naturally shown at winter. Combined the colours with shapes and created a common feeling. It is supposed to feel barren and cold. It is really fun to be able to show your design in a situation where a lot of people will see it. It is also nice that a company like Mitab allows it self to invest in new, young design. I´m sure it will show in their range in a few years.
Jury:
The entry is based on an attractive concept, the nordic arctic landscape with ice, snow, reed and chrystals. An envigorating theme associated with a landscape of cold colours and shapes. All within the Mitab design concept. An entry that everyone should welcome in a warm fairground. Interesting contrasts and encounters between material, colours, shapes and lighting adds to a stand concept that attracts and fascinates.
